Shallowly racist

Don’t worry, I am not gonna blame the Brits once again. It would be too easy… And at the end of the day, I have to admit, I love them… Well not all of them, let be honest… I just would like to pay tribute to this fantastically international sickness that is stupidity.
At a time that every French person is wondering when a civil war will start after having elected a guy such as Nicolas Sarkozy, I can tell you that Great-Britain seems to be far to be behind his cousin of the other side of the Chanel. And to say such a thing, I have a really good example, so here you go…

Last week, at my Italian , my teacher asked me at the beginning of the course with such a face that I guessed she was more than left wing, what I thought about the results of the elections in France… I winced in the ugliest way I could so she understood fairly quickly that it was not making me jump all over the place…
Anyway, the guy who was sitting next to me thought it was a good idea to ask me why I did not like Sarkozy so I replied that I could not be happy to see a f***ing facist becoming the president of my country … In a previous post, I already explained what I thought about the British press so I cannot really blame anyone for not knowing what Sarkozy’s foreign policy is all about, considering that no British paper talks about it anyway… Anyway… The drama started when he told with such a thoughtful look: “I think in Europe, we are reaching a point where there are too many immigrants…”.

Just to let you know: this guy is attending an Italian course because his wife is Italian.

He was talking to me who is an immigrant, so he was basically telling me that people such as me got better to go home… And I have to confess, he was quite lucky that our teacher -Italian herself- did not hear him, otherwise, an immigrant would have probably killed him…

According to his naive look, I assumed this guy, with such a small brain that I think his IQ does not even reach 30 probably did not understand what he did in spite of my face which probably became purple is less than a second .
However, I have to admit, if a category of immigrant has to be pointed out as being the worse, I would accept to raise my hand and being beaten up (well, maybe not actually). Cause I do belong to this category of people that our new president called the “chosen immigration”.
Indeed, my country  might be in a bad state at the moment, nevertheless there is not a civil war (well, not yet). There is no epidemy or famine and the consequences of the global warming are not making French people in the position that they have to leave their country. In conclusion, I left my country because of my own selfishness in order to get a different experience and because I think London is a city to die for… Which basically does not provide more money to the UK or does not change anything at all for the British people apart from the fact that one more person is here to steal a job from a honest British citizen…

The saddest thing in this story is that basically, I know that this guy was not even intelligent enough to realise that I was an immigrant too, because I think he just does not consider me as such… Which is even more pathetic.

I would be glad someone explains to me what can be this bloody concept of “chosen immigrants” or why this guy (and I am sure he would not be the only one to tell me such a thing) does not consider me as such… I don’t understand why a Polish guy working as a plumber is less suitable than me, because he is stealing someone else’s job… As I do… Cause to be fairly honest. the only thing I can get from such a behavior is that people having the right to come and steal jobs in other countries have to be white and Western European and I have to confess, in the 21st century, I think it is just unacceptable...

PS: Just to let you know, I went to see “This is England” last week which deserves to be seen about this subject.
